Welcome to the Etter Art Academy! I’m Stefanie Etter, founder and owner of this art academy. My heart beats for texture painting and resin art. And it beats for you and your art.
As an art instructor, I teach at numerous academies throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland – and, of course, at my own academy, the Etter Art Academy in Schorndorf near Stuttgart.

Stefanie Etter
Stefanie Etter is an “artpreneur”, artist and entrepreneur. She has decades of experience in free painting and creates her multi-layered works using countless materials, media and tools. Her distinctive style and the multidimensional quality of her work emerge through the creative process: applying materials, partially removing them again, sanding and polishing – until the result feels just right.
In German-speaking countries, she is regarded as an expert in resin art, playing a significant role in shaping and advancing this art form – for example through collage work and her Resin Urban Style.
Stefanie Etter also sells art supplies and is an art therapist and author (book: “Resin Art: Experience. Discover. Enjoy.”).

Richard Koch (SOBER)
Graffiti and street art are his passion: Richard Koch was fascinated by what he calls the “colourful walls” in his city even as a teenager. Today, he also creates commissioned spray-painted works on a wide variety of surfaces, such as garage doors and canvases.

Ursi Lysser
Ursi Lysser is an expert in encaustic art, or wax painting. The Swiss artist is particularly fascinated by the imperfections of wax and the transparency of the applied layers.

Matthias Schopf
Matthias Schopf is a passionate woodworker. For more than twenty years, he has been shaping wood – from working with a chainsaw to precise fine sanding. His expertise lies in working with epoxy resin and finishing its surfaces. The combination of wood and epoxy resin is a central element of his work.
