• Working in several stages: Between the beginning and the end, some materials need to dry before you can continue.
• Working with different texture materials: Different materials that crack in different ways. This is important for your composition. Some also adhere on their own, while others do not.
• Designing the painting surface: Your texture media deserve a lively background. With stencils (and a little more), it’s easy to create.
• Working with a marble powder mixture: The different mixing ratio. The application.
• Working with a lime putty mixture: What you should keep in mind when working with lime putty. Plus: the mixture.
• Working with crackle varnish: This varnish completes the trio of texture media in your artwork.
• Working with texture materials: After application comes drying. Now is the right time to add colour. In this case, with effect sprays. But: spraying is a skill in itself.
• Break: Time to dry. Stefanie explains the important aspects: how, how long and at what temperature?
• Working with dried lime putty: Lime putty does not naturally adhere firmly. So you can fix it in place. This has a real advantage. You’ll find out what it is in the course.
• Incorporating cracks into your composition: Work with oil pastels.
• Edges of the painting surface: A simple trick and why you might want to use it.
• Another colourant: Add even more life and texture to your artwork.
• Finished or keep going: You decide.
• Using resin: How to prepare your painting surface for resin. How to use epoxy resin selectively: clear resin here, coloured resin there – and how your textures come into play.
